On Sunday, Diane and Doug rented a boat and took us out for an afternoon on Lake Garda. Lake Garda is Italy’s largest lake and is the lake the McFaul’s have looked out onto since they arrived in Italy in October. We spent the afternoon cruising almost the entire lake and, let me say, it was beautiful. I had seen a few of the towns around the lake, but seeing them from the water was breath-taking. The shots I took on my point-and-shoot do not do the lake justice, each town is beautiful and unique and the mountains that fall on the Northern part of the lake are majestic. A truly wonderful day, taking in the natural beauty of Northern Italy.
Sirmione from the lake:
A quick dip in the lake to cool off 🙂
The mountains were so beautiful!
The McFaul’s, with Salo, the town they have called home for ten months, behind them.
