Oh Sevilla, You Were Too Hot

After Heather headed home from Malaga, I took the train to Sevilla and spent a few days hanging out in the city before going on to Portugal. Sevilla was a great city but it was way too hot. Seriously. 35+ degree weather is one thing when you can hang out at a beach or dip in a pool but that kind of heat in a city is just plain unbearable! I now understand why people have siestas 🙂

The main cathedral in Sevilla (and the largest in Europe):

The river in the middle of town:

There were lots of interesting buildings…

A big park in the middle of town:

Plaza de Espana (built in 1929 for exhibition):

Sevilla was the end of my time in Spain (until I return in July). Portugal is next!
