Being a Traveler

To say I love traveling is an understatement. I thought that I could travel a bunch and lose the travel bug I had within me but I soon learned that yearning to travel and experience new cultures is just part of what makes me – ME!

Growing up I was blessed with the opportunity to travel a lot – big trips and small trips. I have seen a lot of Canada and some (though not nearly enough) of the United States. In high school, I participated in a student exchange and lived abroad for a semester, living in Avignon, France and traveling throughout France and Switzerland. This time abroad sparked my desire to travel big time!

After completing University and graduating with my Bachelors of Arts I embark on another journey, to live and travel throughout Europe. I settled in Dublin, Ireland but spent much of my year abroad on the road visiting many amazing countries.  During my year abroad I visited: Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Wales, England Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Greece and France.

I am currently in teaching school and, as part of my Vancouver, Canada program, I am living and learning to be a teacher in Oaxaca, Mexico October 2011 to December 2011 🙂
